Functional Architect - Dynamics
SUMMARY
If you want to play a key role in transforming the commercial insurance sector within a fast growing company, we are looking for a Versatile Functional Architect to join our team.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Architecture & Software Engineering and lead the optimization of our business systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Dynamics GP. You will be involved in migrating from on-premises solutions to cloudbased platforms, working closely with stakeholders and IT teams in an agile environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and optimize business processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dynamics
GP.
• Drive the migration strategy from on-premises solutions to cloud-based platforms.
• Align business applications with operational needs, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement process improvements.
• Ensure seamless integration between business systems and cloud platforms.
• Define and manage the business systems roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with
business priorities.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system enhancements, upgrades, and new
implementations.
• Act as the liaison between business users, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into system solutions.
• Ensure business users receive proper training and support on system capabilities.
PROFILE
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a
related field.
• Bilingual in French and English to serve clients across Canada.
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) and Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of system integrations and automation solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is
an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Availability to visit the St-Lambert office regularly.
